Utsav ("we", "us") is an invitations and RSVP service operated by P3 Technology, available at joinutsav.com and over WhatsApp. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest, because that is how we would want to be treated as guests.

Information we collect

From event hosts: your name, contact details, event details (names, date, venue, schedule), and the guest information you provide to us for sending invitations.
From guests: your WhatsApp phone number and profile name when you message us, and the responses you send — such as RSVP confirmations, meal preferences, and questions.
Automatically: basic technical information when you visit our website (such as browser type and pages viewed) used to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

To deliver invitations, collect RSVPs, and share them with the event's host.
To answer questions about an event you were invited to (directions, timing, and similar).
To send event-related reminders and confirmations. We do not send unrelated marketing to guests.
To operate, secure, and improve our service.

WhatsApp and Meta

Our chat service runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform. Messages you exchange with us are processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. We do not see your personal WhatsApp conversations with anyone else — only the messages you send to Utsav.

Sharing

RSVP responses and messages related to an event are shared with that event's host. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except for the service providers that make Utsav run (such as messaging and hosting providers), or where required by law.

Retention

We keep event and RSVP data for as long as needed to run the event and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Hosts may request earlier deletion of their event's data at any time.

Your choices

Guests can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or by blocking our number in WhatsApp.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.

Children

Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new date.
